Over decades there have been audio 'splitter' software solutions (as well as various ways to set things in the OS with poor results each time I've tried) so my final logic is to keep my 'proper' audio workstation stable and just use a second laptop for online.

I've followed this up with an FAQ for future users, since this seems to be a common interest. Pianoteq could naturally play out via the PC separete speakers from its integrated sound card but I would not like to connect my bigger and better Genelecs using adapter cables. Hey Tim91, I've never had success at quality VST/DAW audio plus browser (or other system audio/video) at the same time. Please note, these steps use third party software and should be followed at your own risk. It always takes time to adjust when going from a very clean Pianoteq sampled piano because the sound, the atmosphere can be confusing in this regard.
The lack of samples in these physically-modeled instruments. This means that the sound of the plugin is computed via a detailed physical model involving the hammers, the strings, and the soundboard. If you do not yet have AmpliTube, download this from My Products. Purchased from the first version via the group buy launch, I come back happily on Pianoteq 4.5, after a break of 18 months hardware via the Nord Stage 2 for live AND studio. UPDATE (6 March 2021): I have tweaked all of my presets now, and was about to post them (including new 280VC and a heavily revised CFX), but then there were two updates by VSL (one to CFX and one to all of the pianos) right afterwards, so I need to integrate the new features and do a final review before posting, as well as see whether I learn anything from the new presets in Rabih's post that follows mine.We do have a suggested work around to help Windows users get past this system limitation. This should be done with any driver installations. I may have a couple more (new ones) to post shortly, and I did modify my Yamaha preset but I'm not posting it yet because it hasn't made it all the way through a production cycle, which is what I consider the proof in the pudding. Hopefully the descriptions I provided earlier are enough to help, if the preset names are confusing or seem genre-specific where they shouldn't be. But the last time I tried to rename attachments here, it kept the old ones and added the new ones, creating confusion, so I'm just leaving it be for now, as I didn't really tweak any of the settings yet anyway. I've renamed all of my personal presets, to be more recognizable in the context of which piano as well as close vs.
